Please be advised that as of March 17, 2020, Fire Prevention as well as all of the Fire Houses are closed to the public. Anyone who needs applications from Fire Prevention can download them from the City website.
Once the forms are filled out, they can either be mailed or dropped into the bin that will be outside Fire Prevention entrance during regular business hours Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm.
The Fire Prevention Department reports to the Fire Chief and provides inspection of business and home locations to insure fire prevention safety and Smoke Detector, Carbon Monoxide and Fire Extinguisher Inspections for building and home sales in accordance with the New Jersey State Uniform Fire Codes.
