PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that in accordance with the Open Public Meeting Act, N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et. seq., and the Governor of New Jersey’s Executive Orders 102 and 104 regarding COVID-19 the City of Linden will conduct its regular meetings virtually, due to the current health problems limiting personal contact and public gatherings through electronic communication equipment to facilitate public comments or questions.
Members of the public may access the meetings from their computer, tablet or smartphone by registering in advance. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
A Special Meeting of the City Council, City of Linden has been scheduled for Thursday, May 28, 2020, 6pm. The purpose of the meeting is as follows:

In order to practice safe social distancing due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the May, 2020 City of Linden City Conference and City Council Meetings will be held digitally. In order to participate please register for the meeting by following the links below. Please do so using your computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone. During the Tuesday Public meeting, comment will be allowed on the Amendment to the 2020 Budget, Ordinance #64-27, and during the public comment session. Once the public comment session begins no new attendees will be allowed in.

There is a regular meeting of the Linden City Council scheduled for this evening, March 17, 2020 at 7pm. That meeting will be held as scheduled. Public comment will be allowed, on Ordinances on Hearing. There will also be a public comment period at the end of the meeting. Due to the ongoing health crisis it is requested that public comments be limited to items on the agenda only. The agenda is currently posted on our website. If you have a question, or statement for public comment, and do not wish to attend the meeting, they can be emailed here.
