COVID-19 Sunday Vaccination & Test Clinics

Mayor Derek Armstead has partnered with St. George’s Family & Specialty Pharmacy to provide Linden residents with COVID-19 vaccinations and testing. Open to all, ID is required.

Linden Public Schools – Students & Staff Return to In-Person Learning

Linden Public Schools remain committed to our plans for all students and staff to return to in-person learning on Tuesday, January 18th. Despite ongoing issues with the pandemic, we feel it is vital for our students to be in a structured and supportive learning environment that can only be achieved through full-day, in-person lessons and face-to-face interaction with their teachers.

Please help us to make sure that everyone is returning to an environment that is as safe as possible by following these guidelines:

  • All students, staff, and visitors to our school buildings must wear a mask at all times to inhibit the spread of the virus.
  • Anyone who is feeling ill, running a fever, or showing any symptoms of COVID-19 should stay home from school.
  • If you are awaiting test results for yourself (or for family members if you are unvaccinated) you should stay home from school.
  • If you are traveling, please monitor your symptoms upon return.

COVID-19 Test Clinics

Mayor Derek Armstead has partnered with Ammon Labs to provide Linden residents with COVID-19 testing.

  • Who: Open to all. ID is required.
  • What: COVID-19 PCR & Rapid Testing. Results within 48 hours.
  • When: Every Tuesday and Wednesday from 8am until 10am, and from 4pm until 6pm. No Appointment needed. Please note that doors close at 5:45pm.
  • Where: JTG Center, 330 Helen Street, Linden NJ 07036
  • How: Please make sure to bring a smartphone (or other Internet enabled device with a web browser) to complete the online registration upon arrival.

COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic Vaccinations & Testing – Thursday, January 13th

Mayor Derek Armstead has partnered with Super Health Pharmacy once again to provide Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccinations and testing. Walkups permitted, but you must first fill out the consent form online by clicking here.

  • Who: Open to everyone 5 years and older (children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian). ID is required.
  • What: Pfizer and Moderna vaccination and third doses for COVID-19.
  • When: Thursday, January 13th from 1:30pm until 5:30pm.
  • Where: JTG Center, 330 Helen Street, Linden NJ 07036
  • How: Fill out this consent form prior to arriving to the Vaccination Clinic.

COVID-19 Test Clinics – Tuesday through Thursday (January 11th, 12th & 13th) This Week With Vault Health

Mayor Derek Armstead has partnered with Vault Health again to provide Linden residents with COVID-19 testing.

  • Who: Open to all. ID is required.
  • What: COVID-19 Testing.
  • When: Tuesday January 11th, Wednesday January 12th and Thursday January 13th from 8am until 6pm. Please note that doors close at 5:45pm.

  • How: Please make sure to bring a smartphone (or other Internet enabled device with a web browser) to complete the online registration upon arrival.

Linden High School – Union Community College – Dual Enrollment Program

We are proud to partner with Union County College in offering a Dual Enrollment Program. This partnership makes it possible for your child to enroll in selected courses while in high school, allowing them to earn both high school and community college credit at no cost to you.

The teachers for dual enrollment courses are Union County College instructors. The curriculum taught in these classes is consistent with the written curriculum specified by the community college. Classes for these courses will take place virtually after the high school day has ended.

Students will take English 101, at no cost to the parent. Classes start on January 24 and end in May. Students will take virtual classes on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 3pm to 3:55pm Some students will require an additional session on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4pm to 4:55pm for Reading or Writing.

Students must have passing grades in their current classes to be eligible. 

The deadline to apply is today, Monday, January 10, 2022, and space is limited to 40 students.
