Cultural & Heritage Committee

The Linden Cultural and Heritage Committee is a Committee comprised of all volunteers who work to provide high-quality festivals, events and entertainment to residents of the City of Linden and our neighbors in other towns. Most all of these events are provided at no cost or a low cost to attendees. Annual events include street fair(s), concerts, holiday events, plays, craft bazaars, and more.

What does the Linden Cultural and Heritage Committee do?

We hold events for the benefit of residents of Linden, including a summer play presented by Mystic Vision Players at Linden High School, the September to Remember Street Festival and Classic Car & Motorcycle Show, Holiday Tree Lighting in December including a visit from Santa, and the Linden Society for the Historic Preservation is an offshoot of the Cultural Committee. We also update the events calendar on the City of Linden website.

Who pays for all this?

The Linden Cultural and Heritage Committee receive no funds from the City or taxpayers. We are a group of volunteers, and our events are funded via sponsorships by companies that do business in or near Linden.

Who’s on the Committee?
