  • What: Unity Day – A Juneteenth Celebration. 10th Annual House Music Dance Fest featuring live performances from Timmy Regisford, Spinna, DJ Crue Paris, Warren Soulfingers, B-Crew (Barbara Tucker, Dawn Tallman, and Charlotte Small), and Kenny Bobien.
  • When: This event will take place on the rain date, Sunday, June 29 starting at 3pm.
  • Where: In front of Linden City Hall, which is located at 301 North Wood Avenue.

Postponed – The Legends of Linden Free Music Event

The Legend of Linden Free Music Event initially scheduled for June 14 has been postponed due to forecasted inclement weather. The new date and time is Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 2pm until 7pm at the Promenade.

Mayor Derek Armstead, the City of Linden, the Department of Parks & Recreation, Union County Office of Cultural and Heritage Affairs, a partner of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts invite you to attend the Legends of Linden free music event.

  • What: Legends of Linden free music event. Live music concert featuring legendary musicians and singers from Linden, New Jersey. Food and beverage trucks onsite.
  • When: Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 2pm until 7pm.
  • Where: Raymond Wood Bauer Promenade, which is located at 400 North Wood Avenue.

Haitian Heritage Month Celebration

Mayor Derek Armstead, the City of Linden, the Department of Parks & Recreation, Linden Public Schools, and the New Jersey-Haiti Partners would like to cordially invite you to experience a taste of Haiti.

  • What: Haitian Heritage Month Celebration. We would like to cordially invite you to experience a taste of Haiti. Music, culture, dancers, food vendors, raffles, and more!
  • When & Where: The city of linden will be hosting celebrations throughout the month:
    • Haitian Heroes Banners and flag poles decoration. Thursday, May 1 at North Wood Avenue.
    • Senior Luncheon. Monday, May 12, from 11:30am until 1pm at the John T. Gregorio Center, which is located at 330 Helen Street.
    • Flag raising and Celebration day. Sunday, May 18, from 4pm until 8pm at the Raymond Wood Bauer Promenade, which is located at 400 North Wood Avenue.
    • Senior Breakfast (Kozé Lakay). Saturday, May 31, from 9:30am until 11:30am at the Linden Multi-Purpose Center, which is located at 1025 John Street.
